My first album as a bandleader:
“My Deepest Ocean”
“I fell in love with music because I found a way to express myself in a much better way then with words.
Composing, arranging and playing became quickly a way to connect with my deepest emotions and let them all out in the sincerest way possible.
This album is a way to tell you the story of my last ten years, a journey through life accompanied by this incredible presence which sometimes really helped me and comforted me and some other times became the obsession for an unobtainable perfection, which led me to the fact that imperfection is the real beauty.
A journey started back to when I was a student at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, in the Netherlands, passing through the tough years of the pandemic, accepting the circularity of life and the meaning of accepting myself, finally reaching what relieves ourselves from all greed and pain we experience in life: love.
Thanks to all these fantastic musicians, who happened to be also good friends, for their effort and patience.
